Who -Bob
Route -South on the beach to Forest St. (end of the Village) then back up the beach to Epstein St.access, over the the bike path and home
Length - 4 miles
Time - 80 min. Left home at .11:35
Music - Gram Parsons for most of the walk but shifted to some Guy Clark for the last half mile.
Weather -55 and very windy. 20 mph plus gusts from the NW. Walking into the wind on the beach was not for sissies (so I cut over the bike path).
Notes - Nice walk. Lots of people on the bike path. Actually did 2 miles on Sun and Mon. (12/29) but didn't post. 4 miles is feeling pretty comfortable. I will nail a 6 mile in the next couple of days.

Walked six miles - Today I register

Nice walk over the noon hour. From home to Jennettes Pier. Google Maps says this is 6 miles. It was a little cold, windy and it even drizzled for about 5 minutes, still it felt good and no ill effects now 2 hours after I finished.
I did 4 miles on the beach last Saturday and with today's walk I have decided that there is no reason why I can't be ready for the Avon Walk in May. Therefore I will register today and get the process started.

Weather - Cloudy, NE Wind at 10, a little drizzle
Music - Como Now (accapella spirituals) and Elizabeth Cotton (Peidmont finger style blues played by one of the originators).
